Pertinent corporate data exists within the enterprise at various physical locations (branches, processing centers, etc) in a variety of physical & logical (disk, paper, microform) formats. Historically this has required separate technologies for accessing and using this information. Our Information Repository Services represents a major step forward toward delivering to the desktop the desired information regardless of the location or format. We believe this emerging technology will provide significant operating efficiencies. An information repository (or repositories) provides access to paper documents, microform and electronic data and documents in a uniform manner. The system typically utilizes either a thin client (web browser) or client server front end running over existing networks (or inter, extra, intra-nets with appropriate security). Database references and different record types are collapsed into 1 simple, easy to query application. The resultant hit list can then be delivered electronically (web, client, fax, e-mail) regardless of the original format.

Design & Integration Services

Most companies currently maintain a variety of independent information systems. The ability to merge and or convert/collapse these systems into a more common working environment may be desired. A good example of this is the migration of aging first generation electronic imaging systems (typically optical disk) to the current enterprise standard. Our staff of technical personnel, system analysts and designers, programmers to network engineers, serving as an extension of your existing IT staff toward accomplishing these efforts. Our staff has spent many years working specifically on the technical aspects of paper, microfilm and electronic image based information management systems.

Consistent with this evolution, we provide client server or thin client (web) solutions based on SQL databases (SQL Server, Sybase & Oracle) using Intel (NT or NetWare) and RISC (Unix) servers and PC clients over standard networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP). Data storage varies from RAID, CD-ROM, and CD-RW disc. We provide a clear understanding and solution of the migration requirements of today’s rapidly changing technology.

Backup strategies include offsite storage of both index and image data in formats that provide rapid recovery in the event of failure. We strive to minimize this recovery time for our clients by becoming an integral part of the disaster recovery team.
